Naahla began with a lived reality that millions still face today. Growing up in Africa, our CEO, Mwende Mbevi, watched her grandmother walk to the river every day to collect water. That journey was not only heavy in weight but also heavy in cost. It took time, energy, and opportunity away from the family.

This reality is still present in communities across Africa and in other parts of the world where water scarcity and contamination disrupt daily life. Naahla was founded to change that reality through solutions that are sustainable, affordable, and built to last.
